I remember skating on stage and on the floor as well..including pulling off a ho-ho plant (one of those old school handplant things if you dont know) and throwing skateboards in to the audience. ha.

A great turnout for this show! Lots of moshing all night..mostly thanks to all the out of town kids there. We played well and busted out lots of old school jams (for nick oxner..who would have been right up front singin along.. RIP) Other highlights included the varsity jacket, ryan kicking me and general violence. One of the best shows I’ve been to in Halifax ever.

Finally we made it there and got to play with some great hardcore bands for once. Oh..morgan couldn’t make this show so der-x played drums and we got ryan blakney learn 10 songs in 1 night. So yeah..we weren’t so tight but I think we put on an OK show all things considered.

OK..tons & tons of people at this show of course (like 600+). Not too many people came up front for us...but enough to get some good sing alongs in. This was also a rare occasion of having a stage...and it was not utilized at all....hardly any stage dives (i think mostly in part to the lack of people right up front). Other than that...it was awesome. we played 2 new songs and a botched Youth Of Today cover (No More - a super anti meat song written 15 years ago before it was all trendy) Anyway....it was a really good show...if only more shows were like this one. oh well............

April 1st, 2001 - PUNKFEST 2001 @ The Pavilion, Halifax, NS

ENVISION w/ HGM, Dry Leaf, Nothing To Say, The Charismatics

Well now...Punkfest has been going on since at least 1994 ..and this would rank as one of the worst...not really because of the bands but the lack of people. This was especially true for the Sunday show we played. But despite the lack of people it was still pretty fun and we did what we could. We did tons of punk and old HC covers including songs by the Sex Pistols, Bad Brains, Agnostic Front,

Op Ivy and lots more.

Oh dear...this was not good. Almost everyone left right before we went on....we are a sxe band after all and punks are not allowed to like us apparantly. We played OK for the 10 people left watching us. Thanks to some of the ASB guys for sticking around even singing along to the misfits cover we played. Ah...TKO...such memories. Oh..this was a birthday party for some guy.

How we played is not important...this was a benefit show for some friends that lost everything in a fire...$1500 (and a TV) was raised for them...pretty amazing i gotta say. We played Real Friends by FYM at this show...I wanted to hear that song one more time and i doubt FYM will ever play again. Once again..Halifax has proven it’s not the horrible place I think it is.

ENVISION w/ System Shit 19+ or so they say...

Well...our first bar show. We got free soda. I think we played ok and there were a few people there to see us. We played a Blitz

cover...Oi! Apparantly a bunch of people wouldn’t come into the show until we were finished cuz we were a straight edge band. Now that’s cool. An interesting, and sorta fun show.

Jan 13th, 2001 Awesome Fest 2001 @ Mitch’s House, Charlottetown, PEI

ENVISION w/ Three Fine Days, Hands Held Open, Tatses Like Burning, Crapulence

This show was cramped into a tiny room with lots of people. All the bands were awesome. Again the PEI kids (and all the Hali folks who travelled) showed us a good time by singing along and dancing. We ended the set with a whole bunch of covers including YOT, Chain, and the Saves The Day/Floorpunch mix. then a bunch of people got naked and jumped into the snow. As a side note...my present girlfriend was at this show but I did not meet her until 7 years later.

This was a pretty damn good show. Not only was it the last time to see FS, it was also Timmy Youth’s last show with us. We surprised Timmy with a stupid rap part in a song

and with a Dag Nasty cover. Falling Short’s set was crazy and they will be missed.

TKO this time around. It was actually kinda fun. And we busted out the Bad Religion cover just for fun. And of course there was Snot Party...craziness. A good time for all I think!

Hmmm..the show here was odd. Tons of people I’ve never seen before were there for Gob (where are they when local bands play?) It was actually pretty fun. Gob are a bunch of stupid fucks.

This show ruled. Lots of kids singing along and jumping on me. We even played well. I think we redeemed ourselves for that last show. PEI rocks.
